June remains the most popular month for weddings. My father’s little Old Towne Grove Chapel in the orchard next to our garden is averaging 2 or 3 weddings a day on June Saturdays. Kay responded to a past blog on the chapel and asked for a picture…two are included.
This charming little chapel holds only about 20 people. But most couples choose to exchange their vows in the gazebo next to the giant fir tree while their guests congregate under the trees.
Come visit our farmstead in Groveland, Illinois–you can’t miss it on Springfield Road in the center of the village. I recommend it as a road trip to refuel your spiritual reserves as well as a choice for romantic nuptials!
