A little paint can turn an old weathered farm bench into a bright seating spot on our newly painted barn porch.

First Stage: Striping with painters’ tape
For fun French linen-style, I used painters’ tape to block off stripes on each end of the bench after painting a block of white.
After painting the entire bench bright red, I removed the tape. Add a country gingham pillow using a recycled piano bench cushion and the perky bench is ready to join the porch.

Too cute!

FINISHED!
